When I was a kid, I loved a card game called Mille Bornes, in French meaning “a thousand milestones.” Using cards, it allowed players to compete as if they were drivers in a thousand mile road race. It was very aspirational for a young kid to feel as if he could exhibit his driving skill just with playing cards that included such things as “hazards” and “remedies” along the way. It was a very cool game!
