Well expressed, Gary. Ageism was thought to be invisible or quiet discrimination in the past but it has gotten much louder of late. The irony, of course, is that all people age, if they don't die prematurely, so they are really demonstrating prejudice against their own future by perpetuating ageism.
I've done quite a bit of research on the subject as well, and it turns out to be a global issue.
