Victoria, I really enjoyed your discussion of this interesting and dare I say controversial topic. My view is that anyone in our age bracket who can demonstrate a competence in technology should be "brave" enough to do so. I think it is disingenuous to "play dumb" even if it wins approval. It seems to me acquiescing in this way simply reinforces ageism -- something we should all be battling against instead of accepting. Just my two cents!
