Thanks, Joe, for the very thoughtful commentary. It is easy to blame Boomers for the mistakes we made but, clearly, mistakes are not exclusively owned by Boomers or any single generation. I would like to think that with age comes the maturity and wisdom to recognize that people, not generations, are unique humans -- some good, some bad, all complex -- who should be judged individually without characterizing an entire generation as deserving of blame... or praise, for that matter.
