Thanks for responding, Buster. I think most Medium members would want to know exactly how earnings are calculated when it comes to reading time. What is the relationship between dollars and cents and minutes of reading and how is that computed? Does read ratio affect earnings, or is it just based on time? Are there plans to offer earnings for views, not just reads, and if so on what basis? Will external views ever be counted for earnings? I think many of us feel there is too much mystery about how writers get paid and not enough transparency.
