Stewart, as a rabid Beatles fan, I may not think of this as a McCartney classic, but I agree with you that the song does not deserve to be maligned. It’s a catchy tune with upbeat lyrics that is a worthy more modern addition to a whole lot of other holiday songs that sound outdated in comparison. Thanks Paul!
