Of course I do! (in answer to your headline question, Neil). I enjoyed reading your article and want to add a "plug" for nostalgia as being a primary reason we remember song lyrics and melodies. Even as I age, I can't let go of listening to the Sixties music that made such an impression on me in my teens -- or the Seventies music that carried me through college. Lyrics and tunes imprint on us just like memorable moments. That is the power of music.
