Laura, great job identifying another side of the Monkees. I've written about them before on Plethora of Pop and I'm glad you chose to show their range and once again prove the Monkees were more than a TV concept. Not surprisingly, some of their more tender songs were written by classic songwriter teams (Goffin/King and Mann/Weil) whose work can make any artist shine!
