Jody, I completely agree with you. I too grew up in a home in which I was taught at a young age to trust Cronkite. He was the best, and there were others he inspired.

As I grew up I knew just how increasingly rare that ideal had become. I blame the lack of objectivity on a lot of things but it has certainly contributed to our polarized society. I also agree with you that it is virtually impossible to get anything that represents unbiased news on TV, although I do think PBS News Hour comes closest to what professional journalists should strive for.
