Interesting story and well written. "Tragedy" (as the Bee Gees song title says). Many young performers get caught up in the crazy world of fame and fortune and simply can't handle it. Clearly Andy was one of them -- but I think his plight was complicated by the fame of his brothers. He had talent but he probably didn't feel he could live up to the rest of the family. Maybe he would have been better off if he joined the group as the fourth Bee Gee. We'll never know.
