I truly appreciate this informative story. Dave Clark himself was quite a unique individual! The DC5 were unusual but pretty limited in their musical repertoire. Unfortunately most of their hits were similar, except for "Because" -- a truly beautiful love ballad. I liked their sound but they didn't have the range of other bands -- certainly nowhere near The Beatles.
