I became aware of ‘Generation Jones’ not too long ago. It isn’t that surprising that our generation should be split — it always felt like the elders, including me, had less in common with the youngers. That said, shared experiences are far more important than chronological age, in my opinion. In fact, I think in general we would be far better off respecting the generational differences of everyone.
