I agree with your perspective and regret you had to take such verbal abuse. I don’t know what has happened to basic civility but you have clearly experienced some serious idiocy. I’m glad to say most every comment I’ve received on Medium in writing for more than three years has been respectful even if the writer expressed an opinion different from mine.
