Great article, Sally. I like ‘new old,’ but I don’t think any term will solve the fundamental problem we have with the perception of ‘old age.’ Until people accept the reality that aging is normal and inevitable, and that we should honor the elderly’ instead of deriding them, I fear we will never see ageism go away.
