Excellent point, Melinda. As an old timer who used to be a gray hair working in the advertising industry, I can attest to rampant ageism. It is reinforced in that industry in the hiring of only the young and in crafting marketing messages all of us see and hear every day. Any legal decisions that lessen the protections against ageism hurt everyone, regardless of age. They represent discrimination against the individual, plain and simple. Thanks for the thoughtful piece.
