As always, Kristina, your articles are informative and helpful... but... the real issue is with Medium doing things that blow up their writers' expectations, hopes and dreams! The management needs to be transparent about the changes they are making -- and be honest about how those changes may hugely impact writers who, after all, are the life blood of Medium. I've seen an awful lot of complaints and concerns about the massive change in stats status, so something really big is going on.
