As always, Daniel, a great analysis with insightful commentary. I was lucky enough to be a Beatles fan when they were in their prime and loved their originality. You rightly hit upon the larger issue of toying with an original -- all four living Beatles and their inherent human imperfections -- in an effort to assign them a "perfect" manufactured immortality. I think their legacy would have been better served if at least some authenticity was preserved in the production of "Now and Then."
