As always, a thoughtful and honest review. I saw this film recently and agree with your assessment, Simon. Yes, there were minor flaws but I found the film to be compelling. The most interesting thing for me was how understated it was in a good way. I also thought it was helpful that I didn’t recognize most of the actors, I.e., no major stars, which made the characters all the more realistic. Nice swan song, Clint!
